Semifinalists set for Padel Copa Utrecht

The day kicked off with three women’s quarterfinals at Sportclub Houten. The remaining matches were played on centre court. The afternoon session featured the final women’s quarterfinal between Kurz & Koek and Louisa Norton & Weterings. Kurz & Koek came out on top with a 7-5, 6-2 win, securing their spot in tomorrow’s semifinals. The first men’s quarterfinal saw Trillas Garcia & Figuerola Santiago defeat Garcia Jimenez & Medina Murphy, also with a 7-5, 6-2 scoreline.

In the evening session, the final three men’s quarterfinals were played. Santigosa Sastre & Sanchez Chamero beat Nunes & Solbes in 6-1, 6-4. Then, tournament leaders Valdes & Collado Losada faced Richters & Roper and claimed a solid 6-2, 6-3 win. The last match of the day was between Rodriguez Vidal & Nolten and Prins & De Kroon. Prins & De Kroon won 6-3, 6-4, becoming the final pair to qualify for the semifinals.

Tomorrow is all about the semifinals and finals of Padel Copa Utrecht 2025. The afternoon session starts at 13:00 on centre court, beginning with the women’s semifinal: Kurz & Koek vs Perez Ortiz & Borrero. Next up is the men’s semifinal: Prins & De Kroon vs Santigosa Sastre & Sanchez Chamero. The other two semifinals will be played at Sportclub Houten.

The evening session will decide it all. At 18:00, the women’s final kicks off, followed by the men’s final. The finalists will be determined earlier in the day.
